Performance overview
On average fifteen patients are admitted per day in all the different wards, giving a monthly average of 450 patients per month.
The commonest conditions are Severe Malaria, Severe Pneumonia, Acute diarrhea with severe dehydration, Hypertensive urgency among others.
Paediatric ward caters for approximately 70% of the total admissions followed by female with 25% while males have the lowest.

Performance review
Average monthly delivery is sixty, Antenatal attendance of 120 mothers, Postnatal attendance of 60 mothers and their babies.
The commonest cases for admission are due to malaria and its associated complications in pregnancy. Obstetric emergencies are mainly due to obstructed labour, retained placenta and severe anaemia among others.
- Conducts active search and screening of the population for HIV infection.
- ensuring all positively confirmed individuals receive Anti Retroviral Treatment
- Conducting sensitization both within the facility and in the community so that the population is aware of their HIV status.
- Screening those on HIV treatment for opportunistic infections like cancer of the cervix, PTB and other STIs.
- conducting home visits for those with poor adherence to medication
Performance overview
There are 450 clients on care within the facility with a suppression rate of 95%. Atleast 70% of females have been screened for cervical cancer.


The laboratory is fully accredited by ministry of health and ranked second in the district.
Performance review
Averagely, monthly 600-700 patents are tested/ benefit from laboratory services.
